Because of this inability, rats will nibble at food to see if it makes them feel sick (they can’t vomit, but they can feel like they sure as hell want to!) If they don’t feel nausea they will scoff the lot. I KNEW THIS.  This is also why you shouldn’t give rats pop / other carbonated beverages.
